47 Things I Have Learned in My 47 Years
It’s my BIRTHDAY!!! I have been trying to live my best life for 47 years now! I scripted the list below of all the things I have learned in my 47 years, and I think I have managed to script it in order! 😊
I have learned to cry.
I have learned to love.
I have learned to laugh.
I have learned to walk.
I have learned talk.
I have learned to sing.
I have learned to dance.
I have learned to read.
I have learned to be a good granddaughter.
I have learned to say “Please”.
I have learned to say “Thank-you”.
I have learned to tie shoelaces.
I have learned to be a good friend.
I have learned to love animals.
I have learned to travel.
I have learned to ride a bike.
I have learned to experience death.
I have learned to heal from experiencing death.
I have learned to drive.
I have learned to help run a household.
I have learned to fall in love.
I have learned to be in a relationship.
I have learned to plan a wedding.
I have learned to work and advance a career.
I have learned to overcome and move forward after miscarriage.
I have learned to be a good mom.
I have learned that my heart now beats outside my body, in my son.
I have learned how to make tough choices to keep family first.
I have learned that friends are the family you choose.
I have learned to how to lose weight.
I have learned to regain weight.
I have learned to be a good daughter.
I have learned to navigate helping a grade school-er learn and succeed.
I have learned to embrace exercise.
I have learned what it takes to prepare and to have a safe weight-loss surgery.
I have learned to survive and move on from divorce.
I have learned I have a pretty great work family.
I learned patience to teach my son to drive.
I have learned to support and help an ailing parent.
I have learned to run, completing a Half Marathon.
I have learned to lose close friends.
I have learned to make new close friends.
I have learned to launch and maintain a blog.
I have learned to forgive.
I have learned you actually survive when your child travels abroad without you. (Barely!)
I have learned you get to mother even when your teenager becomes a man!
I have learned to do less overthinking because life takes some pretty cool twists and turns...enjoy the ride!
